Todd wants to run off to Hawaii. Her friends assure her that dating Rick is the right choice, but Christy's heart isn't completely sure. Rick makes me feel good, she likes the attention, but she's just not sure.
Notes: Christy learns some valuable lessons about dating and about growing up in general in this book. Now that she's old enough to date she wants to take advantage of it and Rick is ready and waiting. But sometimes there is value in turning down an opportunity. Christy has to keep her heart open to God and let Him fill it with hope.
