Suddenly the
green curtain was pulled aside. “What’s going on in here? What are you doing in
my cave?” Mark gasped and held his breath. Patti looked around, bewildered,
squinting as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. Everyone remained still.
Obviously no one knew how to react to her sudden appearance. Patti scanned the
gawking faces. Then she saw Mark, and her eyes widened. “You told!” she cried
out. “You promised you wouldn’t tell.”
