“Do you think the ghost is digging up the graces?” Colin asked.
“I – don’t know.” I shivered. “Maybe it wasn’t a real ghost. I mean, they aren’t supposed to be real.”
“Then what was it?”
“I don’t know. Fog? Reflection of the moon on the trees?”
“Yeah, right. You and I both know it had the shape of a person.”
“Bigfoot,” I offered.
“In a white robe?” He gripped his flashlight and shone it into the deep woods. “Let’s go back.”

Summary: Andi and Colin are going to not only ace, but get extra credit points on this school project! They are to go birding and try to spot an extremely rare bird. The advantage Andi and Colin have over all their classmates is that Colin’s aunt, a professional birder is in town to look for the rare bird and she’s willing to let them tag along! The one glitch in their plans is the ghost known to haunt the graveyard in the area where the rare bird is supposed to be found. How is one supposed to focus on birding with a ghost in the way?
The only hint of spiritual content is when Colin’s mom refuses to let them miss church to go birding. When the issue of ghosts comes up there is no Biblical answer to it – no reminder that people go to either Heaven or hell rather than stay around as a fluffy white spirit that scares people. As with the others the main characters live a morally good life and that appears to be why it is published under the Christian label.
Spiritual Content Recommendation Scale: 1/5
