The look that came over Consuela caused Punk to stop his antics and ask, "What's wrong?" "I don't know. All of a sudden I feel different. Everything seems more. I don't know, real or something."

Book: Light Weaver by Thomas Locke, Bethany House Publishers, 1994
Genre: Fantasy
Target Audience: Boys and Girls 13-16
Subjects: Faith, Courage, Honor
Summary: Two young people from our world experiencing something crazy. For Consuela it's not that new. She's always been able to escape in her mind to this world. But it's no longer just her imagination. She's somehow really there now. For Daniel it's nuts. He was driving, got into a wreck and woke up here. It's driving the doctor crazy the way both of these patients lie there refusing to wake up - nothing is wrong with them, they just won't wake up for days and days at a time. In the fantasy world they are given important tasks to rescue the Book of Light.
Notes: This is the first in a fun fantasy series about characters who travel back and forth between our world and the fantasy world. It teaches a young boy how to be a man of honor and a young girl how to be a girl of honor. The other books appear more futuristic/sci-fi with a lot of space travel but this first one is simpler, just a fantasy land where animals can talk and the salvation of the world can depend on simple choices.

Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
