But when the flood waters come and a mare begins a complicated birth that the new foal may not survive, all hopes of relaxing are completely gone. Can it get any more stressful than this?
Notes: This book continues the storyline of the High hurdles series about a young girl with dreams of being an Olympic jumper. In this one, DJ and her mom continue to struggle through their relationship, DJ continues to develop a relationship with the father she never knew, and experiences the power of prayer when her mom finally opens more of her heart to God.
