Notes: The treasure from the book is from a wealthy man who was known for hiding all of his money, never sharing with anyone. The kids learn a lesson from his story about the terrible price of greed as they get closer and closer to discovering the treasure. This is the 9th in the Accidental Detectives series, a series of books about Ricky Kidd, a young boy who often stumbles into mysteries and has to deal with a younger brother that drives him nuts.
